Foreign Min. Shlomo Ben Ami
Minister Shlomo Ben Ami currently serves as the vice president and co-founder of the Toledo International Centre for Peace. In 1987, Minister Ben Ami was appointed as Israel’s first ambassador to Spain, where he served until 1991. He also served as the Minister of Internal Security and Minister of Foreign Affairs. Minister Ben Ami was a member of the board of the International Crisis Group of which he is now a senior advisor. He also served as a board member of the Japanese-Australian Commission on Nuclear Non-Proliferation and Disarmament.
