I am firmly committed to Global Zero for two reasons: one is Japan suffered from the nuclear tragedy that should not be repeated any more by all means, and two is nuclear disarmament (nuclear abolition eventually) and nuclear non-proliferation are indispensable for the promotion of peaceful uses of nuclear energy, which contributes to the sustainable development of world energy.

Tetsuya Endo is an accomplished Japanese diplomat and public servant. A graduate of Tokyo University, he worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, serving in the United Kingdom and Mexico.
